When most people were asked about the Lunar Theater, they would be quick to tell you that it was a great place to bring a date. If one was to ask Sasayaku about the place, he would likely tell them it was a place that wracked his nerves so massively as to be a place of horror. Such a statement wouldn't be entirely accurate... but it would come close. As an up and coming artist and composer Sasayaku had on many occasions in the past been a temporary hire of the theater. Tasked with scrambling together set designs, and compositions for shows that would go public with almost no time to prepare! For years these jobs would fall upon Sasayaku's lap, as well as the laps of his peers and competitors. Finally however the Lunar Theater seemed to recognize his abilities as just last week Sasayaku had been extended a permanent position within it's walls.
For the first time Sasayaku entered into the grand building, not as a taxed laborer, but as the assistant to the head composer. The new job did not ease all of Sasayaku's nerves, but he was genuinely interested in learning what he could from the experience. Lunar Theater was after all the grandest hub of artistic expression within all of Pavane. It employed dozens of creators and even more thespians than anywhere else.
Today Sasayaku had been given a simple task by the head composer. Walk the length and breath of the theater and introduce himself to whomever he came across. Sasayaku did not like the idea behind this task, but he recognized why his senior ordered him to do so. Sasa was not a notably social person and being forced to interact would hopefully force him to overcome his weakness. Even with his understanding however Sasayaku was not keen to this line of thinking. The Elf did as he was told however and began his trek throughout the theater.
Luck was with Sasayaku at first as he managed several rooms without encountering a single soul, leaving him alone to enjoy the beautiful design of the massive structure in peace. Upon meeting his first few people Sasayaku recognized them as laborers and workers he had toiled alongside in the past, another stroke of luck to ease his journey. That luck ended only minutes later however when Sasayaku entered into a small secondary stage. The room was constructed so that actors and actresses could practice during all hours upon a proper set, without the prying eyes of the public. A woman was up on stage that Sasayaku had never met before, meaning he now had no choice but to introduce himself.
The young woman seemed to be midst wrapping up a practice session, her short cropped hair and hazel eyes gleaming from the cleverly hidden stage lighting. Whomever she was she wore a impressive blue and white ensemble that outclassed much of the theater's normal wardrobe. With little else to do Sasayaku moved down the seat aisle to watch the end of this woman's set. Something about her was familiar, a nagging feeling in the back of Sasayaku's mind that said he should know who this woman was. uncertain as to why he had such a thought however was enough of a reason for Sasayaku to brush the feeling aside.
Once the woman finally ended her material Sasayaku clapped softly from the comparative darkness of the aisle. Whoever she was, this woman was talented.

Time felt ever-more finite as the young actress flipped an hourglass, after which drawing a finger along the desk where the prop was placed. Instead of sand, it was filled with some sort of chemical having to do with the very performance-- a prop to be shattered later on. Although it was only introduced towards the end of the scene, it would be the opener to the final act, also being used as a key part of the stage transition.
She might not have been a main character in script this time around, her role still held weight in the overall performance. An assist to the villain, which was a welcome change to her normal roles. Extra experience for her character, which played on her often stoic face both on and off-stage.
Swept up in her thoughts, she had almost missed her cue, rapidly trying to recall her next line. "What about a weapon? The old burn marks shouldn't be glossed over, but more importantly those stab wounds were fresh. The knife was fairly new, and it was odd that the killer wouldn't hang onto it after their murder. Those wounds didn't seem clean, either."Squinting as though she were in thought, she noticed an Elf watching their somewhat botched practice. Of course. Like usual, someone to watch her on an off day. Thankfully, only two more cast members had any more lines before it was time for a break. As cast marched downstage chattering about their critiques, improvements and gossip, Imalda lagged behind, drifting through each and every name of sponsors she had memorized. While the descriptions she had were either brief or nonexistent, she couldn't well sort him into the roster. Yet, the more he stared, the harder she thought it. He certainly didn't fit the description she had in mind of a 'Tiylur', though. When she walked over to him, she took a moment to scan his rather dull wardrobe. "Sorry, autographs aren't free unless you're staff." A curt greeting, however sometimes necessary when meeting new staff or volunteers. "Also, New stagehands enter from the back hallway; it's out this door and take two rights. Second door along that wall. Let them know that the desk is leaving stray marks when it drags during transitions."

Always a fan of theatre Sasayaku watched intently as the young woman and her cohorts tested the waters of their current scene. Several props were placed about the stage, and the thespians milled about with practiced footwork. Clearly this group had been at practice for a while, as they easily navigated the trapdoors and stage hand holes while line reading.
Most spectators new nothing about the stages themselves. Sasayaku however had in the past help build and repair several stages in the building. In fact this particular stage was back-dropped with a large painting of the Goddess of Calamity herself. The depiction of Charlotte was that of her creating Yggdrasil and planting the grand tree into the soil that eventually became Pavane. Sasayaku knew the painting well, he was the one who painted it after the previous painting had been damaged by an accident repairing the stage's catwalk.
Sasayaku freed himself from his own thoughts as the cast went over a part in their play that involved the investigation of a murder. As much as the Elf enjoyed theatrical works, he was unfamiliar with this play. The naggingly familiar woman repeated her lines amazingly, even though she had been late and nearly missed her cue. likely the group had been at this practice for hours and boredom was beginning to take hold of each cast member. Sasayaku had seen how the actors and actresses could get once they had been at line reading for too long. Two final members gave their lines and the in work production seemed completed for the moment.
Tasked as he was with getting to know everyone he could, Sasayaku ceased his small applause as the cast exited stage and moved for the doors to take their brakes. Sasayaku intercepted each cast member that passed up the ails and introduced himself in his own awkward way. Most of the introductions were brief as each member seemed rather in a hurry to be on their way. Interactions such as this were the norm back when Sasayaku had been a temp worker... guess some things didn't change even with his new position.
The final cast member for Sasayaku to meet was the pretty woman with the short hair. Sasayaku still couldn't place why the woman looked so familiar, his best guess was that she had likely played a role in one of the last few plays he had seen. She spoke before Sasayaku could introduce himself, and her curt dismissal of him left the Elf just a hair insulted. True Sasayaku was far from a well known name, but even when he had been a stagehand the man had never asked one of the entertainers for their autographs. The woman continued on to explain where stagehands should enter from. She only spoke about half her sentence before Sasayaku mirrored her words right alongside her. "It's out this door and take two rights. Second door along that wall." he said matching each syllable. Though he stopped as the woman complained about the desk.
Sasayaku was quite annoyed by the woman's words to him... He was instructed to introduce himself to everyone however and that included this woman. "I'm sorry to learn about the desk. I'm the new composer for the Lunar Theater. Sasayaku Lamb... All I wished to say was your performance was lovely. Even for a practice." Sasayaku replied, his own tone somewhat curt by this point do to the woman's own tone. Still Sasayaku made the symbol for greeting that was commonplace for the faithful with right hand.
