[attr="class","back-thing"] [attr="class","temp-title"] Magick [attr="class","sub-thing"] [attr="class","sub-text"]Elemental Magick [attr="class","temp-text"]Magick was first created by the goddess Charlotte who entrusted in her creations the power to create for themselves. Power and ingenuity, she reasoned, would allow the Fairies and the Elves to manipulate and control their surroundings, accelerating their military and technological strengths beyond the other two races.
Fairies control a natural, intuitively and emotionally channeled magick referred to as "elemental magick." This is magick which allows them to bend elements to their will. Witches adopt these magicks for their own purposes too, but not nearly as proficiently.

Ignikinesis: Mastery over fire. Fairies with aggressive, assertive, and emotional personalities are natural geniuses in ignikinesis. Practitioners of this magic , often known as 'ignites,' can channel fires using bodily energy from their muscular system. Especially talented ignites can create massive fires the size of their own bodies After extensive use of ignikinesis, fairies will experience a weakness in their biceps and triceps usually. Pushing their boundaries too far might cause permanent muscle tearing or, theoretically, the complete tearing off of their limbs. Undikinesis: Mastery over water. The personalities of "Undites" are usually gentle, empathetic, or social. They form water from ions in the blood causing regular users to become anemic or otherwise inexplicably exhausted. Extensive use of said water over a short period of time can lead to heart failure. Undites are notorious for having the highest mortality rate among fairies. Alternatively, if they are near a water source, they can use this water to conserve their resources, making their combat ability very context dependent. All water they wield, however, can be transformed into any form water can take, notably ice for combat. Because of their versatility in practical work and combat, undikinesis is considered one of the most coveted types of magicks of them all.
Terrakinesis: Mastery over earth. "Territes" are calm, introverted, or temperate beings in general. Channeling power from their bones, territes are able to form stones and ores as well as crack and reshape existing bodies of earth. Intensive use of terrakinesis will lead to bone fractures making damage from Terrakinesis overuse one of the longest to recover from. Territes make good miners and alchemists making them primarily useful for industrial work. However, their combat is formidable too as they are able to open the very ground their opponent stands on.
Caelakenisis: Mastery over air. "Caelites" are temperate, peaceful, or highly spiritual beings. They call upon their respiratory systems to provide gusts of air, increasing in speed the more experienced the caelite becomes. These fairies are not valued as much as the others due to their lack of combat or civil utilities, but this is because most caelites are usually peaceful creatures. In fact, the strongest of fairies in history have been caelites due to their extreme speed and ferocity with proper weaponry. Caelites who overuse their strengths will quickly run short on breath and will eventually pass out without enough air. It is to be noted that the overuse of caelakenisis has the least severe consequences of all the fairy magicks.
Fulminikinesis: Mastery over lightning. "Fulmites" tend to be impulsive, ingenious, or curious creatures who can create electrical impulses utilizing their own nervous system. These fairies are famous for being able to use the most amount of magick before becoming tired and have found much use as electricians. Their combat seems weak in comparison to the other types of fairies, but with certain creativity, fulmites can overcome this barrier and set up elaborate traps or tricks on the battlefield to tip the scales in their favor. Although it is rare, excessive use of their powers can ultimately lead to random spasms, paralysis, or permanent brain damage.

[attr="class","back-thing"] [attr="class","temp-title"] Magick [attr="class","sub-thing"] [attr="class","sub-text"]Natural Magick [attr="class","temp-text"]After creating the fairies, Charlotte looked down upon her new creations, pleased. However, she believed the Fairies' magicks on their own were not enough to rule their environment. Therefore, she created natural magicks as well, wielded by the Elves. Natural magicks are cognitive magicks, defined and shaped by the limits of an Elven mind. Natural magick can be practiced ritualistically to attain specific, practiced, and sometimes spiritual outcomes, but natural magicks can also be cast instantaneously, often to less consistent affect. Unlike Fairies, Elves have the capacity to cast all types of natural magicks, only limited by their own imagination and intelligence. It should be noted too that experiences and expertise in particular areas especially shape this form of magick. Excessive use of this magick can lead to insanity or uncontrollable aggression in Elves. Natural magicks have been split further into two categories:
Sensosomatic: Sensosomatic magick relates to feelings in the body and the mind. This magick has the ability to create illusory effects on the senses of up to four selected targets. For example, one Elven chef rose to fame using a ritually crafted taste that he spent years perfecting.
Morphology: Morphology magick allows elves to interact their surroundings in surreal and unique ways. This includes telekinesis, transmutation, or other types of augmentation. This is a more practiced magick among Elves because of its scientific and practical utility. For example, an Elf might use this magick to turn a knife sharp once again or a team of elves might use this magick to quickly turn a wooden drawbridge into stone. Typically, they can only change or levitate about a two handfuls of materials at a time.
