Large, cerulean eyes bore up to the bright skies, squinting as the rays raced back to meet her beautiful orbs. With the rays dancing across her skin, she welcomed the heat with happy trills spreading from her plump lips like a song she could faintly recall in the back of her mind. Closing her eyes after a moment, she breathed in and out, resonating in the moment of complete and utter bliss till the sounds of quiet flaps broke the silence of the woods. Panicking, she stood to her full height and scurried up a nearby tree to secluding herself from the oncoming traffic about to take place. It wasn't like she was nervous of human interaction, but she also has learned to delve away from the nearby society due to the passing comments of her race. She's heard disgusting rumors, those dignifying that she shouldn't be around these parts due to her biology, but she always managed to ignore them. She never understood the almost hatred for what she was, considering she's never seen another species of herself in the folds of these lands, but she quietly managed to drift herself into a quiet isolation. She took in the basking environment and continued to roam there as she wishes, but she did occasionally grow lonely. A small part of her wanted nothing more than to reach out to those winged folk, begging and craving for some human interaction, but she never knew if they would take her seriously. Instead of thinking further on the matter, she carefully watched as a young couple, no more than a few years older than her, had roamed by her home with their hands entwined. She carefully tilted her head to the side as she watched the two share a teasing kiss and she couldn't help but feel her heart beat at the sight. Confused, she placed a hand quietly onto her chest, curious at the feeling of rapid flutters scraping against her chest, till it stopped a moment later. Humming quietly, she turned back to notice the fleeing couple rounding a corner further into the faeries domain. She wanted to trail after them, to learn more about those small touches but just as she had before, she froze in her spot. She pouted, glancing down at her feet to shoot them an awful glare as if it was all their fault, but she knew it wasn't. It was her undying fear of discovering more of those faeries or anything else for that matter. She's heard rumors about Demons being a terrifying force, along with the vampires and angels, but it always came down one matter, could she even be considered a demon? It's not like she walked amongst them nor did she have any idea how to meet them or discover more information about them, but all she knew, was that she was forever stuck in this ongoing fear of hers. Staying in the lands of where she woke up at. This was her home and she will forever, refuse to leave it.

poison lingers in her veins as the clock hits midnight

Elizabeth had just finished packing her equipment from the Dreis residence before she stepped outside again. "Hot," she noted as she pulled her hood above her head. It was unbearably uncomfortable, but less so than a sunburn. She burned so easily with her pale skin, she rarely stepped outside the office for that reason. As she stared at the ground, she bumped shoulders with someone rather forcefully. An elven man gleefully in love with an elven woman she saw as she looked up, and she was ready to apologize too until she noticed the glare the elven woman was shooting at her. She frowned and continued on her way. "Piss off," she thought, "damned young couples these days. Inconsiderate. Oblivious." She shot them another look as they again kissed in the distance. Suffice it to say her heart did not skip a single beat. ...As she continued forward, she heard what sounded like a rustling in the nearby trees. Was it a Council member? How in the world would they find her in such a remote place? She continued walking forward, her senses heighted and her hand clutching lightly her concealed wand.
