[break][break] Unfortunately organizing physical objects in front of him was lost, his office being littered with various debris. Notepads, petitions, writing utilizes, and discarded badges to previous conferences. [break][break] Today, he had arranged a meeting with a few important people. Mostly those who wanted to assist in the future of the slums. Gerard had already been calling it the twin passage project, as it would eventually lead into halflings expanding into the ghoul’s slums. [break][break] It was still fresh that the ghouls were supposedly eradicated, Gerard wasn’t quite sure how much he believed it. It seemed like the trinity of politicians were flexing, trying to remind everyone of their ‘place.’ [break][break] All uprising would be met with violence. [break][break] Gerard wasn’t going to plan any type of rebellion, not until the halflings were stable. It was too risky to do anything that ambitious now, but first he needed others to recognize that he could rebuild helpless situations. [break][break] Hearing the door open, he turned towards his guest. [break][break] “Hello, you're a little early but that’s alright. Take a seat anywhere”

[attr="class","odele1"] fine without you 'TIL I SAW YOUR FACE, NOW I CAN'T ERASE. GIVING IN TO ALL HIS BULLSHIT, IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT, IS THIS WHO YOU ARE? I WAS DOING FINE WITHOUT YOU, 'TIL I SAW YOUR EYES TURN AWAY FROM MINE. OH, SWEET DARLING, WHERE HE WANTS YOU. SAID, "COME ON SUPERMAN, SAY YOUR STUPID LINE" Duncan would have resigned before letting her desk reach half the state of disarray she saw before her. "Yes, hello. This is with regards to the Twin Passages Project." The faerie took a shallow bow and displayed the canvas book bag she carried on her shoulder. "As per your office's previous communication, I have brought a number of reference materials from the Library's own archives." Duncan did not intend to sound monotone but cared little in taking steps to avoid it. She took a swift look into the bag, pushing aside spare bandages and breakfast leftovers to ensure the stack of books beneath was as she had arranged them. "I have also brought with me an older, though still relevant, family record for some of the larger housing blocks. Halfling slum blocks. Ghoul-related materials, as recently decreed, have been restricted from public access." she stated. With practiced composure, she slinked into the seat facing Gerard's desk and clasped her hands together. "I take it you still have the semi-original blueprints of the housing blocks that I had had sent over last week? Being here in person, I imagined I could better answer any pertinent questions about the historical floor plans." Visible to almost no one, Duncan did possess enthusiasm for the preservation of the historical structures of Pavane. The large housing blocks, or slums as they were colloquially known, had sprouted from modest homes as old as the Tria Mansions' most prominent ancestral abode. She found this fascinating. The Council's recent actions had damaged beyond repair many of the original buildings, leaving reconstruction with not only a responsibility to those now refugees outside their own neighborhoods but also those who wished to see Pavane's history preserved. Duncan was well aware of her presence in the minority of minorities, in this regard. Nevertheless, Morley's community project had presented itself as as quaint opportunity to extend the Library's aid beyond the purely intellectual. She blinked and said, taking a faint smile, "Where shall we begin?" Gerard Morley ● I hope you don't mind if I eat in here. I missed lunch.
