[break][break] [attr="class","sub-thing2"] [attr="class","sub-text2"]Personality [attr="class","temp-text2"]The adviser began reading the statement in a soothing monotone: "And there was this mask, or helmet of some kind, hiding his face but he entered through there and killed the loan shark. He used a cleaver knife, like for meat. I had to look away, also cause I was here thinking I was next. But he comes over to me and cuts the chains, iron chains, on me and then leaves. Actually, his hand was a little shaky so I was a bit worried he'd cut me on accident. He cleared the whole street, right? The Council angel [HANYANG, Sabot?] tried to ignore me when I asked but it was all him, wasn't it? The slavers over there and the rest of the Loan Shark block? Wait, wait, I'm not done. This is the best part: he stood, before he attacked, and pointed at the door. Obviously, no one took him seriously but this guy, he told them to walk away. From here, from this business of theirs. They didn't but the fact is he gave them a chance to. Before he went and killed them." she paused to take a sip of water before starting on someone else's statement: "Did they tell you about the knives? He used knives too. Little ninja-looking ones that he threw. I don't know how they could fly so straight. There was a cool skull patch on his jacket, too. Oh, I want to make one thing clear, I know I said I heard him talk about being bored. But I don't know if boredom or excitement were really important to him. Maybe he was just saying that. He moved with a kind of fury, that couldn't come from random wrath or anger. I've seen those, and he wasn't them. One of them he grabbed and shook around a bit, yelling things I don't really want to repeat here. He was even slurring his speech a bit. But the yelling didn't seem to be for the loan sharks. As if someone was speaking to him during all this. It's not fair to say I think he was dispassionate about all this but it's what comes to mind. A little unnerving, if I'm being honest." Finished reading the evidence, Sherman closed the folder containing the statements and passed it to Takuto for further examination. "You know, the chaps downstairs think some kind of shot-caller is behind all this." commented the angel adviser. [break][break] [attr="class","sub-thing2"] [attr="class","sub-text2"]History and Relations [attr="class","temp-text2"] TESTIMONY AFFIDAVIT - JOSEON, KLAVDIYA I, Klavdiya Joseon, hereby swear to the Goddesses that the following is a truthful account of the events I have been asked to recount here today. My testimony relates to my knowledge of a certain staff member at the now defunct Ryuukai Butchery, where I purchased cold cuts for use at Fitzgerald's Cafe when I used to work there. During this time, I was always served by the same butcher, a young-faced man with green and messy hair. I never learned his name as his nameplate and apron were smeared heavy with blood, presumably from being the on-site butcher, whenever I stopped by. I can't recall him ever being overly polite but he was never mean-spirited either. There was a frankness to him, but he was understanding too, I think. It could be reasonable to say he had a sense of humour as well. Anyhow, there was a problem with a purchase one day. He had given me the wrong cut of meat, he'd given me one I hadn't paid for. This order was for the next day's prep so I had left after my evening shift to fix things properly. I recall waiting by the front door, hoping he would arrive and let me in. A dim light in the background seemed to show him entering the storefront through a rear door, looking very tired, and wiping a clean apron on blood-soaked clothes. I ran as fast as I could before, um, fainting at the door of Fitzgerald's. After I'd been let go, I went to the Ryuukai Butchery again, this was right before it closed permanently, to look for him but I was told there had never been any employee matching his description at the shop. I hope he's not in any trouble, this surely was some kind of workplace mishap, yes? [break][break] [attr="class","app-bottom"]HOTLINE MIAMI, Biker
